INSIGHT: Finally after a gap of four years producer Umakanth Raju has finally released his film 'CID Eesha' which is a remake of Malayalam film 'CID Moosa'. The film is a 100% slap-stick film with lots of laughter.

The film starts with Shankar a SI aspirant trying to help the Police to nab a gangster who is all set to kill the Chief Minister. However, the Police including his brother-in-law an SI played by Rangayana Raghu discourages Shankar in his work. Shankar starts his own agency called 'CID Eesha Detective Agency' and nabs the gangsters.
The film is an out and out slap stick film with no logic. Jaggesh carries the film entirely on his shoulders and he is the only reason for the audience to watch the film. There is no dearth of comic sequences and dialogues in the film. Komal and Rangayana Raghu irritate the audience with their antics and sometimes it is impossible to tolerate them. Except for some performances and silly scenes, 'CID Eesha' can be thoroughly enjoyed by the family.  Music director Raj Bharathi has directly lifted the tunes of some famous songs of Hindi. The re-recording is weak and even the cinematography by senior cinematographer Ramesh Babu is not upto standards. It is impossible to talk good words about Rajesh Fernandes's direction and narration.
Those who enjoy slap stick comedy is sure in for a good treat with ‘CID Esha’.
